People monsters

People are often used as "monsters" in RPGs. They can be well-known NPCs, or, more commonly, just representative of the local populace, guild, or kingdom.

Barbarian

The unwashed and uneducated brute. Other Names: Savage.

Soldier

An armored knight of an opposing kingdom, a soldier doing his duty, possessed by an evil spirit, or just generically evil. Other Names: Knight.

Thief

The thief has the ability to steal items and/or money from the player characters. Other names: Burglar, Bandit, Brigand.

Wizard

Just an evil wizard running around a dungeon or world map. Other Names: Magician, Warlock, Spellcaster.
