The Game Software Wiki is going to be the place GDN Net will send noobs novices to choose their software. I'd like everyone to take a look at it and give some thoughts on what to do next. I'd especially like to hear ideas about an entry page we can seen the noobs to that will give them the information they need to choose the right software for them. —hartnell

I think I may have said this before but I think you just have a section saying which kinds of languages/engines are best for what the person may have in mind, e.g. if they want 3D they could use B4GL or Brutus2D if they particularly want 2D and so on. I'd imagine in terms of layout you could just have something like:

Firstly, what kind of games do you want to make?
- 3D
- 2D
- both

And so on, but each category will be a link to a page suggesting what languages/engines to use for that category.
