Because a game consists of reading input, moving objects, drawing graphics, and then looping through it all over again and again.

And because sometimes you have a whole arary of zombies that you need to move each loopin and at compile time you might not know how many zombies there will be.

Although, there's an idea. How about someone try to make a game without using an actual game loop (just the base loop, other loops such as a for loop for looking through an array would be fine).

I would try, but I can't be bothered. :P
