ahhhh!!! i see, so then there is no need for that table, then since i did the math in each seperate line? is there someway to do the equation in a table(just once) like the one i just deleted? also i under stand about skipping the whole 'p * 1, o * 1, g * 1' but after i thought about it(during the "hi! im a noob" stage b4 it was functional) I just thought about my own preferences and decided to go ahead and leave it in there. but my preferences change overnight(literally) when i posted the text version i said i prefered it but after using it a few(dozens) times i started respecting the ease of the integer input!!!! so basically i had already factored that in when i designed it and for now I'm pretty sure the 1.0 release is gonna have it. I do respect every1s opinion (unless it conflicts with mine!!!!j/k hehe) and appreciate the criticism though? as for my "p = z * 16 = r * 448
z = p / 16 = r * 28
r = z / 28 = p / 448 consider it gone!!!!

Articoz pointed out that this code may not cause errors, but it's also not doing anything either as you are doing your actual unit conversion later on. You should be able to just remove this from the source

p = z * 16 = r * 448 z = p / 16 = r * 28 r = z / 28 = p / 448

here is the text input version of my 1st program i think its a little more work(both for user and programmer) to type the abbr (lbs, oz…. etc) than to type the integer(1,2,3) but its less tacky, so i myself prefer the txt version! with that being said :
